Last December, we took on one of our most unique challenges yet — transforming a Downtown Los Angeles parking garage into a festive holiday winter wonderland. No scenic mountain views, no snow machines, and no chill in the air — just concrete floors, city lights, and a vision.
But that’s what we love most at Bread Crumbs Catering: turning the unexpected into something unforgettable.
We covered the space with draped white linens and warm café lights that shimmered like frost. Evergreen garlands lined the railings, ornaments hung from the ceiling, and soft holiday music echoed through the garage, giving it an almost storybook feel. The skyline peeked through the openings, reminding guests that this magical night was still very much in the heart of Los Angeles.
Our culinary team made sure the menu matched the moment — comforting, cozy, and full of flavor. Guests enjoyed roasted prime beef carving stations, creamy mashed potatoes, and spiced apple cider that filled the air with a nostalgic warmth. And of course, our dessert table stole the show with peppermint bark, chocolate mousse cups, and sugar-dusted cream puffs.
Even without snow, the atmosphere was pure magic. Guests mingled, laughed, and toasted the season surrounded by twinkling lights and the hum of the city below. It was proof that holiday spirit doesn’t depend on location — it’s all about the heart and creativity you bring to it.
