All Natural Margarita

How I Make the Perfect All-Natural Margarita

There’s something about a margarita made from scratch that just hits different. No neon green mix, no mystery syrups—just real ingredients that bring sunshine in a glass. Whether I’m prepping for a backyard party or winding down after a long day in the kitchen, this is my go-to recipe for a clean, zesty, all-natural margarita.

Here’s what I use:

2 oz silver tequila (the good stuff, always)
1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice (none of that bottled nonsense)
¾ oz organic agave syrup (sweet but smooth)
A splash of orange juice or ½ oz Cointreau for a little depth
Ice
Coarse salt for the rim
Lime wedge for garnish

How I make it:

I always start by salting the rim of my glass—rub a lime wedge around the edge, then dip it into some coarse sea salt.
In a shaker, I combine the tequila, lime juice, agave, and that splash of OJ or Cointreau.
Shake it like I mean it—15 seconds until chilled.
Strain over ice into the prepared glass, garnish with a lime wedge, and boom. That’s it.
It’s refreshing, simple, and way better than any mix out there. And when you serve drinks made with real ingredients at your next event, people notice. Trust me.
